During the austral summer of 2005, we undertook a geological,
geophysical and geochemical study of the upper ocean crust
exposed at the Pito Deep, located at the northeast corner
of the Easter Microplate. 鈥淒ispatches from Sea鈥� presents the
progress of our cruise.
