Viola鈥檚 research interests lie in using remote sensing approaches and modeling frameworks to inform and enhance the conservation of vulnerable marine species. Her proposed PhD dissertation focuses on fin whale movement and feeding ecology in the Mediterranean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean.
