My work asks a central question: What gets measured, valued, and managed in ocean systems, and whose perspectives count? I am interested in building better data systems for ocean policy and planning that reflect the experiences, values, needs, and priorities of different groups, particularly those historically marginalized or overlooked. I focus on approaches rooted in place, people, and human experience that can support more informed and equitable decision-making.
